The Egyptian revolution gave a unique model for the peaceful revolutions that brought about a huge change in a short time. What are the reasons that led to the ignition of the Egyptian revolution and what are the challenges it is currently facing especially after the Islamic movement achieved amazing results in the first elections held after the revolution?

The US Presidential election is coming in few months and we as a community need to become a recognized voting bloc. Come and get insight into which presidential candidate benefits your needs and the Muslim community. Advice will be given on how community members and centers deal with the election and work collectively to register voters in the community.

This lecture addresses the big difference between the aspects of Islamic justice, which all humanity has enjoyed under the rule of the Islamic Civilization, and the fake justice assumed by the contemporary civilization and its world order. The Islamic justice was an application of Allah’s immortal system, which has never differentiated between people due to ethnicity, religion, or language. On the other hand, the current world order is in its reality an aggression, injustice, and favoritism based on interests and balanced calculations. The events in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the recent past and the events in Palestine in the past and at the present time bear witness to this discrepancy.

في هذي المحاضرة نتعرض لبيان الفريق الكبير بين مظاهر العدل الاسلامي الذي نعمت به البشرية في أوقات الحضارة الاسلامية والتي جاءت تطبيقاً لمنهجه الخالد والتي لم تفرق بين الناس على أساس العرق أو الدين أو اللغة وبين العدل الزائف الذي تدعيه الحضارة المعاصرة ونظامها الدولي والذي هوى في حقيقته ظلم وعدوان ومحاباة مبنية على المصالح والموازنات. فأحداث البوسنة والهرسك بالأمس القريب و أحداث فلسطين في الحاضر و الماضي خير شاهد على ذلك.

This lecture presents and discusses the most important intellectual and political challenges facing the Islamic movement in dealing with the new reality in the Arabic countries which hosted the “Arabic Spring” and especially it has been legally recognized after many long year of the secret Dawa work. How should the Islamic movement in these countries deal with the other movements and ideologies which might completely differ with it and their presence can’t be ignored?

“What destroyed the nations preceding you, was that if a noble amongst them stole, they would forgive him, and if a poor person amongst them stole, they would inflict Allah’s Legal punishment on him. By Allah, if Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad stole, I would cut off her hand.”  A look at how Islam encourages justice on a global scale that ensures that rights of all people. "وَيُحِلُّ لَهُمُ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَيُحَرِّ‌مُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْخَبَائِثَ وَيَضَعُ عَنْهُمْ إِصْرَ‌هُمْ وَالْأَغْلَالَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ......." (الأعراف 7:157).  لقد حرر محمد (ص) البشرية من أغلال العبودية لاعدائها الأربعة: النفس، الدنيا، الشيطان، الهوى بكمال عبوديتها لله وحده وبصفاء اتباعها لهديه. فمن حسنت عبوديته لله سمت روحه فلم يقبل بذلٍ أو هوانٍ إلا لله سبحانه. ما أثر العبودية لله على الشعور بالعزة والحرية؟

“..and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them” (Al-Araaf 7:157). Muhammad (pbuh) liberated humanity from the shackles of slavery to the four enemies; self, Dunia, Satan and desire. This is done through its complete servitude to Allah and the sincere compliance to His Guidance. Therefore, whoever perfected his servitude to Allah, will not accept any kind of humility except to Allah, Almighty. How would practicing the real servitude to Allah lead to the great status of pride and freedom?

“And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." (Quran 25:74) Get a look into problems facing some Muslim families like abuse and domestic violence and how to handle these situations if one is confronted with it. This session will also cover how families deal with the difference between their culture and the society around them. Come to learn how important it is for Muslim families to be more connected with the social environment and social issues around them in order to be more productive in their communities..

“He has succeeded who purifies it, And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].” (Quran 91:9-10).
