Bashir A. Kabti
Bashir al-Kabti is the general supervisor of the Libya Muslim Brotherhood. He lived for thirty-three years where he received a Master's degree in accounting from the Hartford University in Connecticut. During the brotherhood first public conference, in Benghazi on November 17, Kabti insisted in that the priority of the brotherhood is in "establishing a modern, contemporary state, a state of institutions and laws." While asserting that the Brotherhood will not organize a political party, he encouraged all members "to participate with other patriots in forming a nationalistic party with an Islamic character."
